About Our Students
We offer beginner-level yoga classes to people who have never before tried yoga. Our students are a variety of ages, shapes, and sizes. What they share is the desire to improve their health and engage in self discovery.

Are some of these statements true for you?

  • I’ve gained some weight and I’m feeling overworked. I want to de-stress and feel good in my body.
  • I’ve been told that yoga would be good for me, but I really don’t know where to begin.
  • It seems like everyone who does yoga is young, thin, and limber and I’m not sure that I’ll fit in. I haven’t exercised in a long time and I’m not very flexible or strong. I’m not sure that I’ll even be able to do yoga.
  • I tried yoga once before, but the teacher led us through poses I couldn’t do, and so I never went back.
  • I don’t want to go to a yoga studio and I don’t belong to a gym.
  • I don’t want to get lost in a big class. I like the personalized attention I get in a small group setting.

Double Dog classes are for you if:

You want to have regular exercise in your life. Practicing yoga can help you improve your health both physically and mentally, and you’re ready to start.

You’ve either never tried yoga before or you’re still fairly new to the practice.

You have an open mind and love to learn new things. Yoga is more than just a physical fitness program, and you’re interested in learning more about that.

You know that making time for yourself is important. You value your health and realize that you must make time to take care of you. You do this so that you will feel good and be able to show up fully for your family, your friends, and your job.
